Today I made this sign for my bedroom door. You won't get it if you haven't read the hunger games trilogy but in the third book there's a major rebellion and everyone is always yelling "DOWN WITH THE CAPITOL!" You can buy the slogan on shirts and stuff but it's so expensive. I decided to make by one Hunger Games memorabilia. I cut the letters out on my cricut but used the negative as a sort of stencil. I painted the cardboard with white paint then then sponged on some black paint really sloppily. It looks a lot like my computer desktop now although that picture looks like it was done with spray paint. To see the original picture I imitated just google images "DOWN WITH THE CAPITOL!"
You're right - i don't get it! But i DO absolutely appreciate the effort that went into making this. I adore how it came out! it looks so three dimensional - like carved stone!
